Appeal to help Aid Convoy to Ukraine

Members of St Margaret’s Church have a personal link with Yorkshire Aid Convoy who are asking for your help.

Yorkshire Aid Convoy are busy preparing for their next convoy of 9 trucks to the Ukraine in March.

This will deliver much needed humanitarian aid into the hands of those affected by the war.

With paper work, fuel and ferry tickets the cost of this soon stacks up so money really is a huge help to get aid to where it needs to be.

The founder of The Yorkshire Aid Convoy, Mark Murphy, has been involved and visiting Romania and Ukraine for over 20 years. He witnessed first hand the abject poverty that people were living in through many visits to towns, villages, orphanages, hospitals and refugee camps.

More recently the charity has been organising convoys into Ukraine to hand deliver humanitarian aid directly to help the people affected by the war.
