On Sunday 23rd June people enjoyed lovely scones and cakes and made new friends around tables in the Grove Centre, with beautiful flute music in the background provided by members of the Leeds Flute Choir. Amongst those attending were local councillors and dignitaries, people from churches and community organisations, and people seeking asylum who have come here from different countries around the world. The Cream Tea was followed by a short service of thanks and celebration led by Phil Maud of The Grove Methodist, and featured a very large tennis ball being passed around at one point! Alpha Course in Horsforth It will run on Sunday’s 6pm – 7.45pm with the first session starting on Sunday 5th March 2023  You are very welcome to come for the first session and see if it’s for you. Alpha is a great opportunity to explore to ask some of the big questions of life and consider how the Christian faith wrestles with them. Horsforth Churches Together Primary School Team “It takes a village to bring up a child” We are very grateful to have eight excellent primary schools in Horsforth. As Horsforth churches together we are developing a primary school team with the aim of supporting schools in the work of educating and nurturing the 1800 children whom they serve.
