You are invited to create a CHRISTMAS ANGEL celebrating your organisation, skills, hobbies, campaigns or voluntary work to be displayed as part of the FESTIVAL OF ANGELS at The Grove Church on Saturday 7th Dec, alongside the Christmas Market and Lights Switch-on.
Last year’s WREATH FESTIVAL was a wonderful success and so this year The Grove wanted to bring together and celebrate our community in a similar way, this time with a Festival of Angels.
The angels can be made out of anything you choose, for example, paper, knitting, baubles, foliage, sewing or embroidery. In fact anything that you fancy making. The angel can be small or large and either free standing or with a method of hanging. Somewhere on the Angel you can add your logo, group name or anything that can identify you.
All angels need to be brought ready made to the Church on 6th December between 3pm and 7pm so that the team can set up the exhibition ready for the lights being turned on the following day.
Christine Martin says: ‘We are really excited about this opportunity to bring people together across the Horsforth area in a celebration of all the activities and communities who make this such a wonderful area in which to live.
We obviously need to know who would be interested in joining in the fun and so please can you let us know on the email address below if you would like to take part.

To make this a really special event, as a church we are also creating hundreds of paper angels which will be suspended over the heads of the people in the pews, our own ‘Christmas art installation!’
