Hidden Homeless Leeds

Hidden Homeless Leeds is a grassroots organisation which supports people who are homeless, living in hostels or are generally struggling. They run outreaches in the city centre on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, providing hot meals, drinks, food packs, clothes, toiletries, and other items to around 100 people each time. They also signpost people to further relevant support. The outreaches provide social support as people come together to chat and have a laugh as well as finding a listening ear.

Hidden Homeless communicates with other outreaches in the city centre, sharing information and resources as necessary. They are one of various outreaches, each providing support on different days of the week.

Hidden Homeless are always in need of volunteers to help in a range of ways:

  • Cooking a meal for 50 people
  • Volunteering at an outreach on a Wednesday or Saturday evening
  • Collecting food and other donations (donations are stored in a unit in Horsforth)
  • Preparing hot water flasks at the unit before an outreach
  • Sorting clothing donations

To volunteer or arrange to drop of items, please contact Katie on 07542916337 or email hiddenhomeless3471@gmail.com

You can also donate money through Just Giving or items using the Amazon Wishlist. You can use the Wishlist to see what items are needed – you do not need to buy the items new.
