The Grove Methodist Church was opened in 1868. It was built in the grounds of the 18th Century manor house, known as Grove House, when the existing Methodist chapel in New Street became too small. It has attractive stained glass windows and box pews and a splendid 3-manual organ with 1700 pipes. We are a friendly, Bible-based Baptist Church. We believe God’s love, shown in Jesus, is for everyone. As a family of all ages you are welcome to join us, no matter what you believe! We want to worship God, enjoy being with each other as members of his family, and serve him in Horsforth and beyond. When we meet together we believe God wants to speak to us, and through us (we believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit).
