The Horsforth Shed was officially opened on Sunday 25th July 2022.
The Shed has now got regular groups in on Thursdays and Friday’s.

Report of the opening of the Shed
Over
the last 2 years, led by Pete Gillions volunteers have transformed the interior and exterior of the the old and rather dilapidated old Scout Hut at St James. Whilst Covid has slowed down progress and continues to mean not everything will be perfectly in place, a visit to the shed will show its potential. The vision is for a slow and gradual start but with the aim that the Shed in the fullness of time can offer tangible support to those on the margins of society, those struggling with social isolation, young people struggling at school and also be a place where resources for our community can
be made. The Shed main space looks much like a very good Craft, Design and Technology school room but also includes a nice social space with small kitchen for relaxing in.
